Usability
Setting up the Tempest RS is almost effortless. The Rapid Knuckle System is exactly what you expect from Trakker. It is fantastic. It’s sturdy in adverse weather conditions, with secure storm poles and pegging points that provide excellent stability.

BCC Review
During a weekend session, I found the Tempest RS excelled in performance. The fast setup was as simple as it comes. taking less than a few minutes to have it set up and all pegged out. The Aquatexx feels robust and blocked out a considerable amount of light. No longer will you be woken up by the summer’s 4am morning sun. The built in peak is pretty handy too.
The adaptive ventilation system was especially useful; I noticed a significant reduction in condensation overnight, even in cool temperatures. Windy conditions were handled effortlessly, with the structure remaining solid and secure.
The interior felt spacious, even with a bedchair and tackle inside. Although the design prioritises portability, the space is more than adequate for solo anglers or even short stays with additional gear for a trip abroad.
Verdict
The Trakker Tempest RS is a premium bivvy that combines practicality with innovation. It’s ideal for anglers who value rapid setup, weather resistance, and thoughtful design features. While it carries a premium price tag, the robust build and functionality justify the investment.
